Volunteer at Christmas

Christmas at Rock Point is right around the corner, and in order to make our 10 Christmas services as welcoming to newcomers as possible, we need your help! After you pick the service you are going to attend, we ask that you consider choosing which service(s) you are available to volunteer at. There are four main areas we need help with this Christmas. Pick the area that best fits your interests to get signed up.

Our church isn’t built on the gifts and talents of a few, but on the willing hearts and hands of many who serve and give their time, talent and treasure to make who we are and all we do possible. We would love to help you find your passion, build community and be a part of something amazing.

Are you ready to join the team by volunteering at Rock Point but you’re not sure where to start or what opportunities are available? Then join us for the SNEAK PEEK VOLUNTEER TOUR. During this tour, we’ll introduce you to the various ministry areas and the volunteer opportunities available.

Rock Point Kids is designed to teach kids about Jesus on their level in a safe, fun environment. Each week (babies–Preteens) kids are taught the Bible in a creative, age-appropriate way while building relationships. Whether you are a youth or college student, a mom, dad, or grandparent, or you just love kids, there are opportunities to serve in any of our weekend services. The first step towards serving on this team is to fill out the Kids Ministry Volunteer Application so we can learn a little more about you and how to best place you. As you will be working with kids, an acknowledgement of our Kid’s Ministry Shadow policy, the State Abuse and Neglect Policy, and acknowledgement of a background check and orientation are included in this application.

If you love Jesus, middle and high school students, and crazy services, YTH is a great place for you to serve.

Our first step toward serving in this ministry is to fill out our Volunteer Interest Form and Adult Application so we can learn a little more about you and how we can best place you and better come along side you in your spiritual journey.

Since you are going to be working with students we also require an additional YTH Ministry Addendum, acknowledgement of our a State Abuse and Neglect Policy as part of this form, and background check which will be e-mailed to you.

If you are interested in Photography, Videography, Music Production, Graphic Animation, or Social Media, we would love to hear from you! We have a team who works on the weekend as well as throughout the week to produce all of the content you see during service and on our Social Media. We also meet monthly to do creative workshops.

We are looking for genuine and skilled worshippers who fit our culture and values. We believe that worship team members should exemplify what it means to worship in spirit and in truth and should lead the congregation by genuinely and authentically engaging in worship as they lead.
