A PLACE TO BE KNOWN, ACCEPTED, SUPPORTED, AND DEVELOPED

GROUPS

After giving your life to Jesus, joining a small group might be the most important thing you can do for your walk with Jesus. We are not called to go alone but to go together. We learn in rows, but we grow in circles. Let us know what kind of group you're looking to join or learn more about leading a group.

DAVE SUTHERLAND

Dave Sutherland was born in North Carolina but lost his southern accent long ago unlike Mark Collins. Dave has also lived in Brazil, Ohio, and Arizona. He went to U of A his first two years and met Denise through soccer there. Dave then came to his senses and went his final two years to ASU and graduated with a Marketing degree. Dave married up to Denise and has two kids, Brooke and Mason who he loves hanging out with. His nicknames have been Toothpick, Super Dave, and Dangerous, all for very good reason. If you could have any super power what would it be? Why? Teleportation. This way maybe I could make meetings on time or get more work done without having to drive. I could meet people in Mexico when we do a missions trip and not have to go through the border crossings or toll booths. I could also make people feel awkward by a surprise visit when they least expect it. If you walk into a coffee shop what do you usually order? I would ask what they have besides coffee. Iced tea would be my order of choice. I like green tea and fruit tea best. If it is black tea I add sweetener. I do not go to a coffee shop on my own though, I only go to meet other people because they usually have a nice atmosphere and other people like coffee.
