The decision to say YES TO JESUS is the most important one you will ever make! We want to provide you with a clear understanding of what a relationship with Jesus means.
God loves you. He chose you. He has a plan for your life. He desires to personally know you.
...even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will.
Ephesians 1:4-5 ESV
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11 ESV
All of us were created with a desire to be loved, valued, and accepted—this desire was meant to be filled by a relationship with God, who offers us unconditional love and forgiveness. But sin—the things we do and think that fall short of God’s will—separates us from a loving relationship with Him and creates a gap between us. No amount of human effort can make us good enough to fix our separation from God. Still, God deeply loves us and desires for us to cross this gap and be in relationship with him, and you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Ephesians 2: 8-9 ESV
Because God loves us so much, he sent his son, Jesus Christ, to bridge that gap between us and God. There is no other way for us to get to God other than through a relationship with Jesus.
Jesus said to him, ”I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6 ESV
Talk to Him (pray) something like, “Dear Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner and I can’t reach you on my own. I believe You died to pay the penalty for my sins and then rose from the dead. I accept your free gift of forgiveness and salvation, and I invite you to be the leader of my life. I’m turning away from doing things my own way. Please help me live my life according to Your way. Thank You for Your grace and forgiveness and for giving me the gift of a new life in you. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
John 5:24 ESV
When you receive Jesus, you are born into God’s family and given the Holy Spirit. God’s Spirit—which guides you and reveals God’s truth—now lives in you. You have a new relationship with God and a new future. All of Heaven is rejoicing—and we are too! Welcome to God’s family! Congratulations!
Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
Luke 15:10 ESV
