Rock Point Church is committed to pointing the next generation to Jesus by creating a fun and safe
place for kids and youth to be in community and grow in their faith. Promotion weekend is happening
MAY 21 & 22, 2022.
All students Pre-K to high school will begin attending the service appropriate to whatever grade they will be moving to this fall. While this may seem early, this is to ensure plenty of time for students to become comfortable in new or changing surroundings with new peers and new leaders as summer hits.
Jeff is a Phoenix native who grew up in Ahwatukee. He has lived in the Phoenix area for most of his
life except for a 2-year period where he worked in Santa Barbara, CA. Jeff moved back from Santa
Barbara to marry his bride Paige and to pursue his calling in church work. His ministry began as a
youth intern and progressed into a youth pastor role shortly after. Jeff fell in love with youth
ministry and feels called to reach as many students as possible for Jesus. When the High School
Director position opened, Jeff felt a clear call from God to pursue this opportunity. He is so
excited to join the Rock Point staff family and to raise his family here. Jeff and Paige are
expecting a baby girl in January. Jeff is beyond excited for this new opportunity at Rock Point but
also to build relationships with the students, leaders, parents, and staff. Jeff is extremely
competitive and will challenge anyone in any type of sport or game, specifically basketball.
Promotion Weekend is coming and will take place on May 21 & 22. Students will attend the service appropriate to the grade they will be moving into this fall.
Rock Point does promotion earlier than many of our sister churches in the area to ensure plenty of time for students to become acclimated to their new or changing surroundings. It gives them a chance to connect with new peers and new leaders before summer and the new school year.
Those who attend any Rock Point KIDS or YTH programming from Pre-K to High School are affected. Your child or student will automatically move up to the next grade level within our database, and check-in/pick-up procedures will adjust accordingly. The child or student most affected, however, will be the one changing ministries.
