Rock Point is a fun, welcoming, and safe place for individuals and families to grow in their faith. The ADAPT Special Needs Ministry is committed to adapting and supporting the unique needs of each individual and family so their church experience is meaningful, successful, and inclusive. We welcome both new and returning families across all five weekend services.
To help us provide the best possible support, we ask all families to complete a Plan of Care Form. This form provides our team with important information about your loved one, allowing us to prepare volunteers, develop appropriate supports, and create a safe and welcoming environment.
If your child attends Middle School, High School, or Young Adults and would benefit from additional support while participating in their age-appropriate ministry, please complete the ADAPT Support Volunteer Request Form. An ADAPT Support Volunteer can provide individualized support with participation, transitions, social interactions, and following the schedule to help your child feel connected and successful.
We'd love for you to join our team of compassionate volunteers! There are opportunities to serve families across all weekend services as well as our Respite Night, ADAPT Communities Group and ADAPT Support Volunteer program. Volunteers seek to understand the needs of each family to best support them as they learn and grow their relationships with Jesus.
Respite Night is for ages 2 - 14 years old and provides a semi-structured environment filled with games, activities, movies, and so much fun! Caregivers can drop off their child in a safe environment and enjoy their respite as they choose. It's a meaningful time for everyone involved! Dinner is provided as well as gluten free options. Registration is required.
Adapt Communities is a time for individuals ages 15 and older to meet together for fun, friendship, and biblical community. Rock Point aims to provide a safe and welcoming environment to meet individual needs. Food and games/activities will be provided. Pre-registration is required.
God is with you on a
journey that has been unpredictable, exhausting,
humbling, joyous, and sometimes heartbreaking. Although He is always with you, you’re not meant
to go through it alone. You each have unique experiences and encouragement to share with one
another. Let’s see how God can pull the special needs community in closer and use those
experiences to glorify His body and Kingdom!
